Started in the Year 1995, Mary Matha Arts and Science College, affiliated to the Kannr University is a Government-Aided College, managed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mananthavady. There are Six Under Graduate Programs (B.A. Functional English, B.Sc. Mathematics, Zoology, Computer Science, Chemistry, and B. Com with Computer Applications), One Post Graduate Program in M. Sc Mathematics, Four Research Programs leading to M. Phil. & Ph.D. in Mathematics (Kannur, Mahatma Gandhi and Anna Universities), Malayalam (Kannur University), Zoology (Kannur University), and English (Kerala, Mahatma Gandhi, and IGNOU Universities) and Two Research Centres in Mathematics and Zoology.
