COMMON COURSES:
There are six Common Courses in English spread over the first four semesters. These correspond to the three Part I General English papers of the old pattern, but with additions and improvements in content and methodology.
There are four Common Courses in the Additional Language (Malayalam or Hindi) in the first four semesters corresponding to the Part II Second Language papers of the old pattern.
