1.  Application for admission should be made in the prescribed  form within 10 days of the date of the  publication of the Plus Two results. The application form and prospectus can be had  from the college office on payment of Rs.30/-.

 

2.  Applicants who have been provisionally selected for admission    will be enrolled only after they have produced all the certificates mentioned in the prospectus and have paid the    first installment of fees. The Principal reserves the right to   refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.

3.  Any candidate who is found to have secured admission by  false representation will forfeit his/her admission along  with the fees paid. 

Fee pattern

     Tuition Fee -- Rs.2200/-per annum

     Caution deposit -- Rs.360/-

     Special fee -- Rs.560/-

          Fee pattern may change from time to time as per govt. and University directions.

 Payment of fees

           Tuition fees can be paid in eight equal installments together with the other fees for the year. The schedule of fees is given at the end. After the last date for the payment of fees, the name of the defaulters will be removed from the rolls and they will be readmitted only after they submit an application in writing after the payment of all the arrears.   Absence (with or without leave) from college will not be considered as an excuse for non-payment of fees in time.

           Students  belonging to other Backward Communities also need not pay the fees if the income of their families does not exceed Rs.24,000/-per annum in the case of the students of the degree classes. Students who claim exemption from payment of fees must produce necessary certificates issued by the competent authority attesting to  their community and income.

           Fees can be paid at the college office between 9.30.a.m. and 2.00 p.m.

 The Caution Deposit

 1.  Every student  admitted to a course of study in a Govt. or in   a private institution should pay the caution  deposit at the time of admission or at the commencement of the course or     during the period of the course along with the first installment  of tuition fees and other special fees.

  2. The caution deposit will not be refunded till the student has   completed his/her course of study. At the end of a particular   course of study, the caution deposit collected from a student will be refunded to him/her on receipt of an application   from the student in the prescribed form. The dues, on account  of the library books, the breakage of laboratory equipment  and the destruction of college property will be deducted from   the caution deposit.

3. The caution deposit paid by a student for a particular course will be refunded to him /her after deducting the dues. It will  be  refunded before the completion of the course if the student takes T.C. from the college for discontinuing the course    or pursuing  studies for the same or a different course in  some other institution.

4. The student must keep in safe custody the receipt issued for the  remittance of the caution deposit. The caution deposit will be refunded only if the  original receipt is produced along with an application for  refund.  Failure to produce the original receipt will result in the forfeiture of the claim for refund.

  5. The outgoing student can get the caution deposit refunded on or before 31st  May of the year. Unclaimed caution deposits will be forfeited to the Government.  Students should produce their library identification cards while claiming the amount.

 Fee Concession

a. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Kudumbi and Christian converts from SC and ST  who are bonafide subjects of Kerala State are eligible for full fee concession, stipend and  lumpsum grant for purchase of books and   dress. They will have to produce, at the time of admission, a certificate of nativity and a certificate of community.

b.  Applicants belonging to backward  communities who are  bonafide subjects of Kerala State are eligible for full fee    concession if the income of their families does not exceed  Rs. 24000/- per annum in the case of students of Degree  classes as per the Kumara Pillai Commission Report.

c. Exemption from payment of Tuition Fees is allowed to the children/grandchildren of Political Sufferers if the income does not exceed Rs. 15,000/-per  annum.
