The department was started in the year 2001 under self-financing stream, with elective subject principles and practice of insurance management.  By considering the growing demand of computers in the business field, we changed our elective subject into Computer Application.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

The first batch had 24 students, passed out in 2004, with an excellent result, i.e., 81.8%, second position in the University of Kannur. The department has outstanding alumni in the field of business, sports, accounting, management, social work and computer. The latest Batch has gone out with around 90% result in April 2010 and 100% in April 2011.
