Department of Chemistry conducts subsidiary courses for the students B.Sc. Zoology. The  well-equipped laboratory provides facilities for advanced research in various areas of chemical sciences. Dr. Rajeev Thomas (MSc, MPhil, B.Ed), the Head of the Department is  at present engaged in research work leading to Ph.D degree. The topic is “STUDIES OF SOME INORGANIC ION EXCHANGERS”.              

   He has published two research papers  with Sri. Janardhanan, Department of Chemistry, SN college, Kannur as co-author. Sri. Rajeev is an active member of Indian Council of Chemists.

Mr. Bineesh Raghavan , Ms. Deepa K.Baby and Ms. Nisha .K are other Faculty Members.
