Activities during the last three years (1999- 2002)

    The department has been conducting  lectures on different topics in Mathematics by eminent personalities  in connection with the inauguration of the Mathematics Association every year. The first lecture was on “Various Applications in Mathematics" by the Wayanad District Collector  Mr. Biswas Mehta.  The second and third lectures were respectively by Pro. Raman Menon, Retired Principal of Brennen College, Thalasserry and Dr. Sudheer, Department of Mathematics Feroke College, Kozhikode.

The Ramanujan Award

          The Mathematics Department has instituted a cash award of Rs. 250 /- which is awarded to the top scorer in Mathematics (Main) every year.

 The Top Scorer award

          The Top Scorer in the final year examination (Part III) will get a cash award of Rs. 250 every year

Maths Problem Solving Club  Mathematics Quiz Competitions

         The Department has a  “Maths Problem Solving Club” which conducts  quiz competitions and brain teaser competitions for the Mathematics students of the college. The top scorer is given a cash award of Rs. 250/- every year.

Mathematics Magazine

The department publishes a hand- written magazine. The staff and the students of the department contribute illustrations, articles and papers. The magazine is placed in the college library.
